LAM Manticore Combat Cruiser

LAM’s question for a large combat vessel has finally been answered, the Manticore class Combat Cruiser is another prototype (credit once again to Fourbutton1701), revived from a blueprint ship hull to a fully functional and effective warship, although these ships are rarely seen outside of core LAM shipyards and stations, several exceptions have been made to allow these cruisers to forgo any initial concerns and venture out with a hefty complement of Griffin Frigates and Cerberus Gunships, to assist LAM forces in hunting down the most powerful pirate fleets within the Den, armed with 3 Mass Accelerator Cannons, 1 forward firing and 2 “Mjölnir” class turrets, in addition to a mixed array of all 4 Warfare class turrets, alongside a more standard array of traditional LAM armaments, initially designed with a traditional Hydrogen powered setup, during the first stages of construction however, the Deuterium reactor complement was carefully installed as with all of LAM’s larger military ships, Manticore cruisers are are a sight to behold and not one to cross if you can avoid them as they are now officially replacing the Titan Griffins as the new flagships, LAM’s new Manticore cruisers have made a spectacular entry into the combat zones across the Wolves Dens’ most dangerous sectors, seeing no need to further update the military fleets until new threats arise however, LAM now has more opportunities to focus on the economic and quality of life insurances they provide their own citizens, and anyone else under LAM’s protection while they’re within the region, to conserve on the precious resources within LAM controlled space, LAM has decided to remove the MAC Railgun from the Manticore’s bow, and have replaced it with 3 1500mm Lance cannons, while keeping the dorsal and ventral “Mjölnir” turrets
