The bed slide out to mount a vehicle and slide up to haul. the bed controls are under the bed on the sides with the slid buttons on the driver side behind the tail lights [left up, right down]. The buttons to secure a load are on the passenger side behind the tail lights [left unlock, right lock]. And finally the controls to lock the bed are on the driver side in front of the rear bumper [left lock, right unlock].

The A6 version of the M12 improves with a bed locking feature to keep the bed stable when driving and improved steering.
