P-257 Devil Dog - Escort Vessel

After the remainder of the S-180 escort corvettes were converted to P-547s to be used for capital ship raids, S.E.C. needed a new, cost-effective, escort ship to protect its merchant fleets. This role would be taken up by the all new P-257, a jump capable sloop class vessel with a very low profile. Armed with a modest loadout of 2 gatling turrets and 1 assault cannon turret, P-257 is an efficient disabler of fighters and drones.
