Relay Link

Background:
The ‘Relay Link’ small grid ship, is a simple satellite that is solar powered and provides an antenna relay link in space. When the power failed on my laser antenna, I used two of these to link my base on the moon to the earth-like planet.

Features:

  • 50km antenna
  • 2x 1 MWh long life battery
  • remote with camera
  • 4x max 40kW solar panels
  • ion thruster orbital maneuvering

  • This drone supports ISY’s Solar Alignment Script and already has it installed, the programmable control block is turned ON and will automatically align. To use the scripts, you need to play Space Engineers in ‘experimental mode’, enable ‘ingame scripts’ in the pre-game loading setting. Although the script is pre-loaded, please still show your support, visit ISY’s page, subscribe and like, link: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=699142028

Requirements/other info:

  • blueprint has been saved with ion thrusters ON, antenna 50km ON (every 3 minutes), control panel ON (running Isy solar alignment script)
  • on board timer rotates antenna ON/OFF every 3 minutes for power saving, as solar panels don’t keep up with power consumption

Hephaestus Prime

I’m relatively new to Space Engineers and decided to document my journey through the Space Engineers universe and share my experiences via a YouTube channel. These blueprints contain some of the vehicles and other items I’ve created for my build on the earth like planet of Hephaestus Prime. YouTube link: Hephaestus Prime Playlist
