The Inferno frigate class is a space-only warship designed to conduct independent deep space cruises, escort missions, and assault operations. Its targets are typically soft, such as military freighters and light pirate ships, though its weaponry and armour enables it to cause serious damage to stationary or slow-moving armoured targets.
The Inferno carries a gravity gun that fires a kinetic projectile which can penetrate several layers of armor at short to medium ranges, but can not be guided once fired. The gravity gun is automaticly reloaded by welders in the projectile chamber. It also carries guided missile racks with two missile types. The first missile is guided by Whip's Optical Missile Guidance Script and allows the Inferno to manually guide the missile towards a chosen point of impact. The second missile type is guided by Rdav’s Guided Missile Script, and may be fired when its designator turrets have locked on to an enemy within a 800 m radius. The missile will then change course to intercept and detonate its warhead upon impact. In addition, the Inferno has two large automated turrets with eight gatling guns, controlled by Whip's Turret AI Slaving Script. These are positioned to fire at targets roughly in front of the ship, supported by the regular missile- and Gatling turrets. The front part of the Inferno is therefore heavily armored and lined with decoys, so that enemy fire is drawn away from the weapons systems.
The Inferno carries on-board production equipment to produce its own ammunition and components. It also carries a Ceres Mk.IV Mining Drone and a Welan Mk.II Utility Drone for resource gathering and repairs in space. It can not negotiate the gravity of a planet, and has to use its Ghost Mk.IV (C) Dropship for away-missions to a planet’s surface.

Known issues:
● The active scripts may impact the sim speed upon pasting the blueprint into the world. If this happens, just restart the map/server and the sim speed will be back to normal. If the problem persists, turn all scripts off.
● Do not fire the gravity gun while the ship is moving, the chance that the projectile will hit the ship is high if you do.
● The Floor Plan Script currently resets the configurations of the display panels upon pasting this ship. It is turned off, awaiting an update from the author.
