Trireme Class Dropship

Since Rome started it's conquest many centuries ago, it's always needed a way to bring troops to new theatres of war. It started with sea bound ships and long marches on foot...but now as the battlefield changes so does the way you get there. That's where the Trireme Class Dropship comes into play.

The Trireme Class Dropship is specialized in transporting troops planet side or ship to ship boarding parties from a variety of capital ships.

It has both atmospheric and zero-g capabilities and fueled by 3 reactors and up to 6 large military grade batteries. It has an armament of 2 assault cannon turrets on either wing strut and 2 auto cannon barrels on the nose.

Generally the craft has a fighter escort but can hold it's own in a fight if need be...but don't linger too long as it is lightly armored for faster speeds.

It can transport up to 18 troops at a time with 2 pilots. This particular craft can also be reconfigured as a cargo landing craft.

Note: be sure to close ramps before unlocking from connectors as you may incur the wrath of clang.
