description
Designed to be able to go as close to 'anywhere' as possible, this small grid rover has been developed with the same fundamental ideas that conceived the original. These fundamentals are, maximum ground clearance, high durability, high range, and superior handling.
Capable of travelling extremely long distances without docking to charge, due to it's large battery pack, dual hydrogen engines, and small reactor. The KOMODO Mk.4 has also been designed with a very strong armoured underside, without compromising on ground clearance, meaning it can make use of that range as effectively as possible.
The wheels are arranged in a 4x4+2 arrangement, meaning that unloaded on level or flat ground, the rover will only have four wheels in contact with the ground, this minimises wear and damage to the central wheels. However when the rover is fully loaded or traversing rough terrain, the middle wheels are available to assist with traction and to help even the load over the centre of the rover, making the rover very hard to get stuck.
The biggest addition in the Mk.4 KOMODO is the return of a large cargo container, which when coupled to the three medium cargo containers on board, gives the Mk.4 the best carrying capacity yet; to make sure you can carry everything you need on your travels.
Handling in this newest model is still one of its biggest strengths, while slightly taller due to the increased cargo space, it remains very capable over every surface.
The Mk.4 KOMODO is equipped with a single Gatling turret to defend itself, but it is not recommended as a fighting vehicle, the KOMODO Mk.4's best defence is it's speed and agility.
