Deserts and Irrigation

This is a dependency mod required by some desert maps. Do not add this mod to a game unless it is required by a custom map.

On Desert maps, water is scarce. Wells can only be dug next to existing water sources. Transporters can store water in Granaries, and Food Markets sell water to villagers who live far away from a well.

Desert soil is infertile and not immediately usable for crops or forestry. Irrigation towers can be built and irrigation workers will bring water and remove stones to improve the soil. After about a month, irrigated soil becomes capable of supporting plant life.
