description
Like other corvette classes in the Fleet, the Serration is a light warship equipped for prolonged, independent long-range patrols, raids and convoy duties. As a result of lessons learned from the Fleet’s campaigns in the Arcturus sector, the Serration is well armed considering her size. She has a hybrid thruster system, and can fire its hydrogen thrusters for extra manoeuvrability.
She is a space-only vessel and will quickly lose her ability to maneuver if caught in a planet’s gravity well. She carries all the necessary equipment to process ore, assemble building components and produce ammunition.
